Covenant Marriage Conference in Seattle was a Hit!

Following a trip to Lima, Peru, Jan and I headed to Seattle to conduct a Covenant Marriage Conference with David and Lisa Mitts (pictured here) and the One New Man congregation.

It is always a very special time when couples renew their vows as these couples are at the Conference in Seattle.

"At the recent (covenant) marriage conference, you ministered to a married family member couple we brought with us.  The demise of their marriage has been devastating for our family, because until just 4 years ago, we had no idea that there was anything seriously wrong in their marriage of over 30 years.  And we are a family that loves the Lord and have chosen to walk in His ways.  When they came to the conference that Friday night, they were separated in every way possible, even to the point of despising each other in their hearts and outwardly with their words.  It was nothing less than a miracle to see the rebuilding of their marriage begin to take place that weekend.  I attribute this to the presence of the Lord much more than the excellent teaching.  This couple has seen many counselors and gone to many marriage seminars, but as she sat next to me even on Saturday she said that she had no hope.  What an incredible transformation to go from one with no hope, to one who received personal revelation from the Lord and could enter into a renewal ceremony (not under compulsion but willingly).  And from what I understand, they're continuing to do well together since the conference."
